Payment details are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store complete payment-card details on our servers.
Our payment provider may collect, process and retain payment, identity, transaction and fraud-prevention information in accordance with its own privacy policy and legal obligations.
We may receive limited information from our payment provider that is necessary to manage your subscription, including a customer identifier, subscription status, payment status, transaction amount and transaction date.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
Upon cancelling your subscription:
- We will retain your login details and cloud-saved user data until the end of your current billing period.
- When the cancellation takes effect, your account and cloud-saved user data will be scheduled for deletion from our active systems.
- Residual copies may remain in routine backups for up to 30 days before being removed through our normal backup cycle.
- We will request the deletion of personal information held by our payment provider where deletion is available. Our payment provider may retain transaction, payment, fraud-prevention and related information where required or permitted by law.
- We may retain limited records for longer where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.
4. Data Storage and Location
Cloud-saved schedule data is stored using Amazon Web Services in the Stockholm, Sweden region. Some account, payment, analytics and advertising information may be processed by service providers in other countries.
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols, including HTTPS/TLS.
- Cloud-saved schedule data is encrypted at rest using Amazon DynamoDB server-side encryption.
5. Your Data Control Options
You have control over how your data is stored and accessed within these available storage options:
- Online (Cloud) Storage Option:
For convenience, you may choose to store your data on our servers so you can access it online from supported devices. Your data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest using server-side encryption. However, authorised personnel with appropriate access permissions, such as system administrators and technical support staff, may be able to access and view your data in plain form when required for maintenance, support, security, or operational purposes.
While we implement reasonable security measures, including encrypting data in transit and at rest, no system can guarantee absolute security. There remains a risk of unauthorised access or disclosure in the event of a security breach.
Daily database backups may be retained for up to 30 days. If you delete data that has been stored in the cloud, it may continue to exist in backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently removed.
- Downloaded File Option:
You may choose to save your data to a file on your local device and use the Service without storing data on our servers.
At this stage, downloaded files are not encrypted and are provided as plain text. The download is generated locally from the content currently displayed in the Ezytask application in your browser and is not transmitted to external servers during the download process.
This option provides greater control over your data, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. If additional protection is required, you are responsible for applying your own encryption or security measures after download.
6. Data Deletion and Backups
You may delete cloud-saved schedule data through your account settings.
When data is deleted:
- It will be removed from our active systems.
- Residual copies may remain in routine backups for up to 30 days before being removed through our normal backup cycle.
- Limited account, transaction, security or legal records may be retained for longer where required or permitted by law.
- Information held independently by our service providers may be retained in accordance with their legal obligations and privacy policies.
7. Restoring Your Data Stored Online
We may offer a free data restoration service that allows you to restore your data to a previous state within the past 30 days, subject to availability. To request a restoration, please contact admin@ezytask.io.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure and improve the Service.
Necessary cookies support core functionality, including authentication, maintaining user sessions, remembering security preferences and protecting accounts from unauthorised access. The Service may not function properly without these cookies.
We also use analytics technologies to understand how users interact with the Service, monitor performance and improve the user experience. Free-plan users may be shown advertising, and our advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to collect device, usage and advertising information.
